Project #WemakeSchool

We bring rhythm to the virtual classrooms

We're moving on. After world champion, Olympic champion, professional ice hockey player, professional sports coach, national coach, national player, artist and world runner, we will start part number 7 of our project #WemakeSchool next Wednesday, June 10, 14:00. Organised jointly with prominent sportsmen and women, artists, trainers, musicians and the nationwide store partners of GELDPILOT24.

This time again a popular participation project for pupils and kids. The link to is available from your GELDPILOT24 store or from wirmachenSchule@geldpilot24.com. Next Wednesday, 10 June 2020 from 2 p.m. onwards it will be rhythmically in the virtual classroom of #WemakeSchool. With Roberto Emmanuele and Fallou Sy, this time two music teachers will introduce the children to the world of music, more precisely to the world of drums. Fallou and Roberto are two absolute thoroughbred musicians who have been making music since childhood.

Fallou Sy already dreamt as a child in his home country Senegal of becoming a musician. Besides African flute and drums, he masters many different rhythm instruments. With his group "Domou Afrika" he has been performing worldwide for 15 years. In addition, he also participates as a musician in many other projects. For example, he played in the musical "Hope Obama Musical" or could be seen with his drum workshop on RTL.

Roberto Emmanuele learned to play the drums and piano as a child. Early on he was also at home on stages. As a pupil he already performed as a musician and DJ and could be seen on TV and in theatres. Today he works mainly beside the stage. He produces concerts and events, from musicals to rock shows, always true to his motto "Music is the most beautiful language in the world". As befits proper lessons, Roberto and Fallou will not only tell you what a "griot" is, but how to become a professional musician or which stars they have already worked with. The two musicians will drum together with the children and rehearse a few rhythms.

It doesn't take much for the pupils to actively participate. A table with a free table surface on which drumming can be done is absolutely sufficient. Maybe there is even a drum that is played with the hands. This can of course also be used.
